“The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16
Meditate means to reflect, to moan, to mutter, to ponder, to make a quiet sound such as a sighing, to meditate or contemplate something as one repeats the words. Reflect and ponder and read the Scriptures until you have them down in your spirit. It isn’t necessarily memorizing the verse but reflecting on it and asking the Lord for the revelation of it.
You will have success in your life if you meditate on the Word day and night. You must get the Word in your spirit rather than just in your mind if you want to receive insight and revelation from the Lord. You must be in constant communion and fellowship with God to meditate on the Word day and night.

I graduated from State Fair Community College with an associate’s degree in Secretarial Science and graduated with certificates from Rhema Correspondence School and from JCCC/AFCM Bible Training Center. I have been married 50 years and have one adult son.
I have written four books “Meditate on God’s Word: Prayer”, “Meditate on God’s Word: Your Spiritual Inheritance”, “God’s Extravagant Love”, and “Journey to Holiness 90 Day Devotion”. I have written monthly teaching letters on prayer to my church’s prayer group over 10 years. I have also written weekly email devotions to an interdenominational women’s group in my community for several years. I enjoy studying the Bible and helping others understand it.
