WALK IN THE SPIRIT PART 2

Joshua 1:8 AMPC 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

Psalm 1:2-3 AMPC 2 But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. 3 And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].

We left off last time talking about renewing our minds to the Word of God to get the revelation of who Holy Spirit is and how we are to walk in the Spirit and not let our flesh dominate us. Today I want to continue talking about renewing our minds to the Word of God by meditating on the Word.

These verses are telling you if you meditate, ponder, mutter, reflect on His Word you will be prosperous, successful and wise. You must get into His Word. Skimming over it will not help; you must meditate on it day and night.

Take a verse for a week, study it, and meditate over it, repeating it and putting yourself in what you are studying and you’ll receive His revelation. Do this for any issue you are dealing with and you will come to maturity and be fruitful and able to walk in the Spirit, rather than in your flesh.

Father, I declare I will study and meditate on Your Word day and night so that I will be prosperous, successful, wise, and fruitful and be mature in Christ and walk in the Spirit not my flesh. In Jesus name Amen.
