HOLY SPIRIT IS ALL YOU NEED PT 2

John 14:16-17 AMPC 16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever—

I am continuing my discussion of the Holy Spirit. According to this verse, He is our Counselor or Advisor. If you ever need counsel or advice, Holy Spirit is within you to answer your cry.

There are many Christian counselors available today, but you must still be careful who you get advice from. Holy Spirit is the best counselor to get advice from. You can ask Him for wisdom, and He will liberally give it to you.

The Word of God is also a good place to get counsel, advice, and wisdom. Remember, Holy Spirit dwells within you and knows all about you. He wants to comfort you and counsel you in all that you do

Holy Spirit is also your Helper. He is available to give assistance to you in all that you do. He is also your Advocate. An advocate is a supporter like an attorney who pleads your case or an intercessor who pleads on behalf of you. Jesus is your intercessor. He pleads for you not guilty to the Father.

The Holy Spirit is your Strengthener.  He will strengthen you in your times of need.  His joy is your strength. His joy dwells within you.  He is also your Standby.  He can be totally relied on.  He is standing by you whether you realize it or not.  He is always there for you making your life better if you surrender all to Him.  You are never alone or without anything you need.   He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance My Word.  

     Father, I thank You for sending the Comforter to dwell within me and give me relief in affliction, consolation, and solace.  He alleviates my sorrow and distress and leads me in the way I should go.  He teaches me all things and causes me to recall the Word in my times of need.  Thank You, Father, for sending the Holy Spirit to dwell within me being my Comforter, Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby.  I surrender my all to You and will be led by the Holy Spirit in all that I do.  In Jesus’ name Amen.
